Ordained a priest 1984, and assigned as associate pastor of St. Patrick of Heatherdowns. From 1986-1993 assigned to the Diocesan Youth Office holding different positions: Spiritual Director of Youth, Chaplin of Scouting, Associate Director of CYO, Director of Youth Ministry.

He was born and raised in Tiffin, OH. He has three sisters who also live in Tiffin: Marie Smith, Renee Williams and Mary Kistner. He was homeschooled throughout both grade and high school, and attended Ave Maria University in Naples, Florida. Upon graduating with a philosophy degree, he continued his discernment to the priesthood while working for an automotive company in Tiffin for two years.
In 2009, he began seminary studies at Mount Saint Mary’s for the Diocese of Toledo. He served at Most Blessed Sacrament Parish for his year of internship, and was ordained a deacon in 2014 by Bishop Joseph Binzer. In 2015 he was ordained a priest by Bishop Daniel Thomas, and served his first assignment at Saint Paul the Apostle Parish in Norwalk, OH. He is currently serving at Saint Patrick of Heatherdowns as an associate pastor.
He has numerous hobbies, including being an uncle of six nieces and nephews, playing board games and musical instruments, reading Sci-Fi/Fantasy books, building with LEGO, biking, grilling and homebrewing.

With St. Patrick being my second assignment, I hope I am able to serve as a holy, humble, healthy and happy priest, while ministering to the various needs of the parish. Mary Miller has been a parishioner since March 2007 and Parish Secretary since February 2, 2010. She is a mother, a grandma and also a great grandma. Also Mary is an Associate member of the Adrian Dominican Sisters and a member and Spiritual Adviser of the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
Formerly Mary was in the automotive field as a supervisor and as a production scheduler. Mary says this is the best job ever, having the Blessed Sacrament around the corner and a chance to serve God's people.

Rebecca Reamer has been a parishioner since 1994. She has been involved in many aspects of parish life. She is married to Dave and together they have six children. She graduated from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California with a Bachelors in Biological Sciences. She is the coordinator of the Family Faith Formation Program, Children's Liturgy of the Word, Sunday Pre-School, Sacramental Preparation for First Eucharist and First Reconciliation, and RCIA for children. She also is involved with the Confirmation preparation.

Ron directs the Adult and Children’s Choirs, the Hand Bell Choir and is responsible for liturgical planning. Passionate about Liturgy and Music, he has played in churches in Toledo for more than 40 years. Additionally, he has played with The Toledo Symphony, The Toledo Jazz Orchestra and remains actively engaged in music throughout the area. Ron is a graduate of The University of Toledo.

John Valenti is a lifelong Catholic and Master Catechist. He and his wife Pamela have three grown children and one Grandson, Luke. As Pastoral Associate, his is responsible for Adult Faith Formation, Outreach Ministries and Pastoral Care to the Sick and Bereaved.
John received his master’s degree in Theology and Religious Education from St. Louis University and has served parish, school and diocesan rolls in faith formation and evangelization.
A native of St. Louis, John served as Director of Religious Education and Pastoral Minister. Called to “missionary discipleship” he also served in the home-mission of Jackson, Mississippi and Director of Evangelization for the Archdiocese of Indianapolis. Of special interest to John has been the training and formation of catechetical leaders and has certified over 1,000 Catechists.
As a believer that, “It is a sin to make the Good News boring,” his favorite bible verse is Ephesians 3:20-21:
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever!” Amen.

Tina was born and raised in Kentucky. she moved to Ohio in 1990. She has been a parishioner of St. Patrick's for more than twenty-five years.
Tina receive a bachelor's degree from BGSU in December 1993 and started working at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns in August 1994. After teaching at St. Pat's for more than twenty years, she stepped into the role of assistant principal. Tina remained the Assistant Principal of St. Pat's for two years and then became Principal in July 2017.
Tina will graduate from Lourdes University with her Master's Degree in Educational Leadership in May 2018.

Born in Toledo Ohio, John grew up twenty-five miles north of St Pat's in a small town in Erie, Michigan. Graduating from Franciscan University in May 2014, John has Bachelor degrees in both Theology and Catechetics and has been involved in youth ministry for over 5 years. Growing up, one of John's greatest desires was to serve the youth and families in the church and that journey now continues as the director of the High School youth ministry program "Life Teen" here at St Patrick's

Lydia has been a Certified Public Accountant for 25 years. A native New Yorker, Lydia graduated from Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, New York with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She currently lives on a farm with her husband Darrel and children Darien, Dillon and Victoria.
Joe obtained a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from University of Toledo 1964; and a Master of Arts degree in Theology from Lourdes University 2013. Deacon Joe spent his career as an Information Technology Specialist at Owens Corning for 33 years. He retired in 2001. Member of St Patrick’s parish since 1968. He was ordained a Permanent Deacon for Diocese of Toledo in 1987. He is a member of Theta Alpha Kappa – National Honor Society for Religious Studies and Theology, Knights of Columbus, Maumee Elks, past president of Toledo Deacons Council. He served as past president of Toledo Deacons Council Continuing Education Committee.

Deacon David Karpanty is a native of Toledo Ohio, and a 1966 graduate of Central Catholic High School, who was brought up the parish of St. Anthony.
Dave graduated from the University of Toledo in 1968, with an Associate Degree in Engineering Technology.
Ordained in 1989, he has served in the diocese for 26 years. He is a past Vice President of the Deacon Council, and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Although he has always resided in the parish, his former assignments have taken him to St. Francis De Sales, the Community of the Risen Christ and St. Charles Borromeo, before finally coming home to St Patrick.
A 2005 graduate of Bowling Green State University, with a Bachelor of Science in Advanced Technical Education, he is married to Jeanne, has one daughter Haley (Brian), and is blessed with one grandchild.

Deacon Dennis is married to his wife Jeannie and they have four children, Brandon, Lindsey, Jeremy, and Noah. They joined the parish after graduating from Bowling Green State University in 1995. Dennis is self employed and works with Savage and Associates as a financial planner helping both individuals and businesses with their long term planning. Jeannie is a CPA for a local accounting firm in Perrysburg. Dennis was ordained in 2013 and is very happy to be here at St. Patrick's. Three of their kids have graduated from St. Pat's and Noah is currently here in middle school. Please say "hi" if you haven't met them, they would love to meet you.
