Overview
T.R.I.P. is the purchasing of gift certificates/cards to over 200 local and national vendors through various brokers. Brokers purchase certificates in bulk quantities at a discount. You order and pay face value for your certificates through T.R.I.P. who then purchases them at a discounted price from various brokers. These certificates/cards are used as cash. The savings (difference between face value and discounted purchase price) are then held in an account to be dispersed at the end of the T.R.I.P. calendar year to your designated fund. T.R.I.P. retains 1% of all sales.
