OutReach Ministries Group
This group provides an opportunity for parishioners to respond to the needs of people in the parish and community, both locally and globally. We are committed to serving and nurturing the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of others as disciples of God. We currently have monthly outreach projects that target areas of concern in our world such as food to the hungry through our Face of Hunger campaign or blankets and winter gear for those without these comforts through our Winter Warm Up drive. It is also the mission of this group to help the unfortunate when disaster strikes through natural disasters and other calamities.
Volunteer Opportunities: Each month we orchestrate a program that focuses on a different area of need, trying to encompass all facets of our parish and society. There is a constant need for many volunteers in this area to perform many functions. We need people to help us with implementing our programs as well as performing the duties necessaryto carry out these programs. The type of help will always change depending upon our current program. Your level of involvement can be casual, an hour or two as needed, or you can make a commitment to be an ongoing member of our team. Whichever choice you make, we are grateful to have your assistance.
