Children's Liturgy of the Word
At the 9:30 a.m. Sunday Eucharist, the children in kindergarten through grade 4 are invited to go with a catechist during the Liturgy of the Word so that the Word of God may be proclaimed at their level. They return to their family in church after the homily. The facilitators are organized by parishioners. For more information, contact the Religious Ed Office.

ST. PATRICK WEDDING GUIDELINES
SATURDAY MORNING
PRAYER GROUP
Meets in the church at St Patrick's every Saturday morning at 7:45 a.m.
Lead by Deacon Joe Kest. A group of Christian men and women who gather to celebrate the Liturgy of the Hours, proclaim and share the upcoming Sunday Gospel, and pray for their needs and that of the community. This prayer group was started by Fran Benlein in May 1987 and has gathered every Saturday since then. This prayer group is open to anyone who wants to give praise and thanks to God and offer prayers for any special need.The Liturgy of the Hours or Divine Office has been commonly known as the breviary or priests' daily prayer book. Before the reform of Vatican II it was said by priests and religious but principally as a private prayer. The liturgical reform of Vatican II has restored the Liturgy of the Hours to its original purpose, the prayer of the entire Church. Its primary structure is the communal praying of the psalms and reading the word of God.
