Board Meetings are held on the third Sunday of each month, at 7:00PM, at the school.  The meetings are open to anyone who wishes to attend.  Check the calendar link below or the Sunday bulletin for the date of the next meeting.

Throughout the year, for just about all sports, we are in need of coaches.  If you have a few hours each week to help coach your child, please contact the commissioner of that sport.  Coaching will count for your volunteer hours, as well as the experience with the kids and fun you will have.

The SPH athletic calendar can be viewed by clicking here. This calendar will provide for all sports at SPH a central location to see practice, game times and locations.  Commissioners and coaches will provide the information to be posted on this site.

The SPH athletic board would like to say THANK YOU to all of the wonderful people who attended the 2009 Reverse Raffle, and all of the volunteers who helped make this event successful.  And a THANK YOU to everyone who donated items for the silent auction tables and to those who donated cash to help support this event.  This was our best event in a number of years and  plans for even a better are in the works for 2010.  Again, thanks to alll who supported this woorth while event!!

The 2010 spring soccer season is approaching.  On March 2nd, 2010, there will be sign ups from 6:30PM to 7:30PM, in the school conference room.  Forms may be turned in prior to this date at the parish office.  Teams will be determined by the numbers received by March 2nd.  Additional information will be coming out about the upcoming season.

The 2010 volleyball min-camps will be held at the SPH gym on May 15th, beginning at 8AM.  Grades 5th through 8th will be playing this year, and additional information will be posted as the date draws near.  Mark your calendar now!

Track season is fast approaching, and we will need coaches.  Contact Jim Czerniakowski if you are able to coach this track season.  jpc033@hotmail.com or 419.389.1800.  There will be an informational meeting for runners, parents and coaches on March 11, at 7PM in the cafeteria.

Jack McGurk, the SPH athlectic director from 1978 to 1988, started the SPH 8th Grade Invitational Basketball Tournment in 1981.  The first year games were held off campus while the SPH gym was being built.  The Invitational was held in 1982 at SPH and has been played here every year since.  Jack had a great vision and commitment to St. Patrick's and the athlectic board decided to rename our annual event.  The tournament will now be called "The St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Jack McGurk Irish Invitational"  All of us wish to congratulate Jack and hope to see him in attendance for many years to come! 

On Saturday night, March 6th, the annual all star games and three point shooting contests were held.  Each school provided their all stars and from this group, one player from each team was selected for the 3 point contest.  This years winners in the 3 point contest were Austin Moore from Maumee St. Joe's, and Monica Thomas from Queen of Apostles.  Each player received an engraved plaque and a gift card for Dick's Sporting goods.
